This footprint has been known for more than a year. What is the development timeline? (i.e. when can we go for a walk in the park?)

According to my information the blimp hanger closest to Columbus Square will stay but the one near The District is going to be removed. The plans look like they are planning some additions to the building and some water features. It looks like it's going to be a nice addition to parks and recreation in the OC.

Some have talked about a Rock Climbing gym. I think there is also going to be a military museum and whatever. They have been using it pre-park for filming movies...maybe some of that will continue since it's pretty unique to have such large indoor space.

Another reason, and most likely the most compelling, is that they want to preserve at least one of these historic buildings.

Is there anywhere to get more regular updates on this stuff? The TustinLegacy.com site and the City of Tustin site are horribly outdated and chock full of obsolete information.

Personally I'd like to know when they are going to start moving forward on some of these things, like connecting Tustin Ranch Road to Von Karman, which would improve traffic conditions for area residents.
